In Difficult Times - Hope in God!!

Amighty God and Father, we lift up our weary hearts to you this day. These are difficult times, times of darkness, despair & discouragement. Times where the future is uncertain & dark clouds of hopelessness loom over the horizon of our lives. Where do we find hope? Where do we find consolation? How do we bring comfort to our aching hearts? Lord, in times such as this, our hope is in God. In the midst of all the clamour & negativity in the world around us, we hope in God. When the government let's us down, we hope in God. When the healthcare system collapses, we hope in God. When men and women are questioning whether we will survive this or not, we hope in God. When the enemy's flaming arrows of fear come flying our way, we hope in God. Truly Lord, this is also our wake up call to our world - Hope in God. This world that we live in - where everything that can be shaken will be shaken, we offer an unshakeable refuge, a strong & unconquerable  fortress - Hope in God. Father, in this hope we rest & cling to. We have hope because of Jesus Christ your Son for through his life, death & resurrection, we are reconciled to you, your love is poured into our hearts & your eternal peace guards our hearts and minds in Christ Jesus. Because of this hope, we shine like stars when the world sinks in deep darkness. We are not discouraged by isolations or restricted movements because we have access to throne of Grace & nothing can keep us from drawing near & enjoying the abundant riches of your grace. It is this living hope that brings meaning & significance to our earthly existence and fills us with unceasing joy knowing that we are the apple of your eye. It is this hope that stirs our longings for heaven when we will know you fully just as we are fully known & love you in a much fuller measure with hearts unhindered by sin. It is this hope that makes our earthly lives profitable for our fellowmen as conduits of this incredible hope.

We Love you Father - God of all Hope.
